The Fiery Heart by Richelle Mead

I have been waiting for this book since I finished the last one, which was the day it was released. I actually had it marked in my calendar. Funny thing, I was talking to my friend a few weeks before it came out and asked her if she knew what was happening that day, she said, "Awee, you remembered my birthday.." I am not a terrible friend I did know it was her birthday that day, but COME ONNN IT'S THE FIERY HEART RELEASE DATE!!!!

No spoilers, so don't worry:

I really liked this one, it was one of my favourites of the series, but for some reason I had some trouble getting into it at first. However as soon as the action picked up I could not set it down. There were many touching and sweet moments, and anyone that is a romantic and a fan of the series will love it. If you are just reading this series because you, like many, are in love with Adrian, then you will love the dual point of view. I give it a 90% because reading it was pure enjoyment. So don' be lazy and read it!!

WARNING, WARNING SPOILERS AHEAD!!!!

There were, A LOT of things going on in this one, but first lets talk about my fave topic, Adrian and Sydney! *Is Sadrian a thing, or do they call them something else?* One of my fave things about this book was the dual point of view, because we could finally get into Adrian's head, and even though it was often a dark and depressing place I still liked hearing from him. I also loved the way he saw Sydney, every description he gave of her just warmed my heart. However for me there was also a down side of the dual P.O.V, because every time they were getting it on, we would only hear from Adrian. I kind of wanted to know what Sydney was thinking in those moments, instead of always hearing Adrian's thoughts.

The whole thing at court where they were about to have sex, but then things kept getting in the way just frustrated me almost as much as it did them!!! I just wanted to call up Richelle and say "Can you just let them  do it already!!!" But in the end I'm glad they waited because the whole motel scene was very sweet, though it did remind me of the cabin scene with Dimitri and Rose, which made me a little anxious about Strigoi. I just want to add that Adrian must be fantastic in bed if Sydney wanted to go at it so quickly after losing her virginity, I mean, can I get me an Adrian?

Speaking of Strigoi, I was very satisfied with the progress they made with the anti-Strigoi experiment, and the role Adrian and Sydney played in it . The invention of the two tattoos was one of the things I found really interesting in the book, as it has created a whole world of possibilities when it comes to plot development. I am very curious to see what happens, and what they are going to do with the tattoos, I wonder if it will play a role in Sydney's rescue. What if they tattoo Zoe and get her to go undercover, I mean after all it is all her fault that Sydney's locked up.

Now let's talk a little bit about my fave character, Zoe (NOT). Oh my GOD, how can someone be so damn annoying and irritating, I wanted to lock her up and tape her mouth shut multiple times. I am aware of the fact that she just wants to please her father and that she is easily influenced, but every time I think about how she betrayed her sister I just want to locker her up in Sydney's cell/room in the Re-ed place. As soon as Adrian lost his phone after the car sex, and Sydney let that little B**CH, I just knew she was gonna find it.
I just want to add quickly, how cute was the whole Eddy and Jill scene?!? OH and before I forget, Miss. T and M. Wolf!!

I know I should be disappointed that Sydney got captured and what not, but I'm really not, because I know she can handle it and that even if she gets a little messed up, Adrian can fix her.

Overall I really did enjoy this one and I cannot wait for the next one. Why does  the wait have so be sooo damn long though!!!

By the way big fan of the show ;)

Feel free to comment and let me know what you think will happen in the next book...

A little intro

Hello readers,

This as you can see is my first post. I am new to blogging, so I am taking my time figuring things out, and so far so good. My blog is going to focus on books, if you can't tell by now. I read a lot of young adult, and romances, so if anyone in the future wants me to review something I would be glad to. I will be posting at least twice a week, unless things at school get crazy and I can't finish the books I'm reading. I am really looking forward to this new experience and I know I will have a lot of fun with it.

Thanks for reading..

I loved this! To put it simply, it was short and sweet. After reading the Vampire Academy more than once this is how I thought Dimitri saw Rose. When I found out about this chapter, it made me squeal like a little girl and reading it made my day. It is a very quick read and perfect for VA fans!

I loved this series, and this last book is no exception. It was the perfect ending. It answered all the questions I had and left me very satisfied. There were some sad parts but I guess a writer's gotta do what a writer's gotta do. I mean it did feel like nothing important or shocking happened, and the ending was kind of predictable, but that doesn't bother me because I wanted her to have a happy ending so badly. I got through this book really quickly, it was effortless and enjoyable.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I liked this, but I can't say I was exactly satisfied with the ending. However I am happy that I read the series because over all it is great!

When I was reading the chapters I had to grab a box of tissues because I couldn't see through my tears, I actually think I went through the stages of grief, this was me for a few chapers...

When I accepted what happened I cried some more...

Even after all the crying I do not regret reading it for a single second!!!
